🔒 Welcome to The Great Peterborough Cringe Exchange 🔒
Well, well, well…
you’ve found us.
That means you’re one of the chosen few —
the brave, the curious, the secretly mortified.
Most people walk past the clues. You didn’t.
You’re here. Which means you’re ready.
This isn’t just a project.
It’s a mission:
to laugh at the awkward,
to reclaim the mortifying,
to turn shame into solidarity.
Welcome to The Great Peterborough Cringe Exchange.
The Show
“…And Then John Farted & Everybody Died”
📍 Key Theatre Studio, Peterborough
📅 Thursday 13 November, 7:30 pm
🎟 Tickets from £12
A wildly physical comedy that fuses dance, drag, and storytelling into a joyful, mortifying celebration of being human.
One woman’s mission to embarrass herself (and you) before the world ends —
which it might, because John’s fart is coming.
👉 Book your ticket before it’s too late.
Seats disappear faster than dignity at a school disco.
The Workshop
The Final Cringe Exchange Workshop
📍 Key Theatre Studio, Peterborough
📅 Tuesday 18 November, 5 pm
🎟 Free to attend — booking essential.
An evening of laughter, clowning, gentle movement, and creative play.
We’ll explore the art of the cringe, share stories, and uncover how embarrassment can set us free.
No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to blush.
The Project
Hundreds of embarrassing stories.
Hundreds of brave souls.
All selflessly donated to be reimagined, performed, and gloriously cringed at — second-hand, so you don’t have to suffer first-hand.
Part community experiment, part theatrical confession booth, The Great Peterborough Cringe Exchange is gathering every “oh no” and “please let the ground swallow me” moment we can find —
and turning them into art, laughter, and maybe even catharsis.
Act with haste.
Prepare to cringe.
And whatever you do —
don’t tell anyone how you found us.
